Acadevo was built from the ground up for academies that have ranks, belts, techniques, and grading sessions. Disciplines, belt ladders, learning paths, eligibility checks, auto-promotion, PDF certificates — these are core features, not paid add-ons. We ship discipline presets for BJJ, Karate, Muay Thai, Judo, and MMA, plus the flexibility to build any custom system you need. That said, every operational feature (members, billing, classes, marketing, shop) works equally well for yoga, pilates, gyms, dance studios, and any training-based business.

You define your disciplines and belt ladders (or import a preset). For each target belt, you build a learning path — a checklist of techniques (mandatory or optional) the candidate must complete. When you plan a grading session, Acadevo auto-checks eligibility (time at current belt, age, classes attended, stripe requirement, curriculum completion %) and surfaces who's ready. During the session, examiners record per-technique pass/fail/score. On completion, all promotions happen atomically, certificates generate as PDFs, achievement badges trigger, and webhooks fire to any external systems you've connected.

You'll bring your own data. Export your members, schedules, billing history, and (where applicable) rank records from your current platform — most major systems offer CSV export — and import them into Acadevo yourself. Onboarding walks you through setup and training; the data move stays in your hands. That's intentional: your data, your timeline, your control. Most academies are running on Acadevo within 7–14 days.

You do, and you can export anytime. Members, schedules, payments, ranks, attendance, every record — all available as CSV. There's no paid export tier, no "premium data ownership" upsell, no retention call when you want to leave. The schema is documented and your tenant database is yours.

Stripe is the integrated processor for memberships, shop, and one-time charges. You connect your own Stripe account during setup — your money goes directly to your bank, not through us. We never touch member payments. Stripe webhooks drive subscription state, payment recovery, and order fulfillment.
